Extreme Performance Gelled Spot and Stain Remover for Problematic Oil Based Spots and Stains

CleanMaster has formulated the solvent soluble spot and stain removing power of a volatile solvent, non-volatile solvent, and POG into one specialized thickened, gelled solution with SpotMaster Gel XP. The gelled solution sits on the spot rather than immediately absorbing down into the carpet like a typical solvent spotter does. This keeps the spotting action on the spot or stain where it belongs and reduces your chances of causing any delamination. SpotMaster Gel XP is designed to effectively remove or lighten all kinds of stain causing inks (ballpoint, duplicating, ink jet, stamp pad, permanent marker, and more) along with latex, enamel, spray, and other types of paints. It can also be used effectively to break down hardened and oxidized grease and oil spills, and to remove or lighten stains caused by shoe polish, nail polish, cosmetics, and tar. Working in conjunction with CleanMaster SpotMaster Pro XP, Spotmaster Gel XP finishes the one-two punch often needed for problematic oil based stain removal. For gum and adhesive removal, CleanMaster OJ is recommended. Spotmaster Gel XP is formulated to be in compliance with the latest VOC emission regulations, and is fast acting, stays on the surface of the spot, and is safe on most natural and synthetic fibers (Do not use on acetate upholstery fibers).

Directions:
1.     Always pre-test all cleaning solutions in an inconspicuous area for colorfastness prior to application.

2.     Remove any excess contamination before applying spotter. For spilled liquids, blot or extract up. For encrusted materials, use your spotting spatula to remove as much of the material as possible.

3.     Poke holes in the top of the material with the sharp end of a spotting spatula. Apply SpotMaster Gel XP straight to the spot or stain using your flip top applicator, keeping the gelled material on top of thee spot or stain.

4.     Allow to dwell 2-3 minutes.

5.     Agitate solution into the contaminated area with your spotting spatula or tool.

6.    Blot up as much of the stain as possible with a colorfast, cotton, absorbent towel. Consider using a tamping brush with towel to force as much of the material as possible into the towel. Repeat process so long as color transfer into absorbent towel is obvious.

7.     Rinse with water and blot up or extract area thoroughly.

8.     SpotMaster Gel XP will effectively eliminate most solvent and oil based spots and spills. However, If discoloration, apply Knock Out 1 according to directions.
