Urine Pre-spray Neutralizing Treatment

UPS is a special synergistic blend of acid neutralizers, detergents, odor counteractants, and decontamination deodorizers for use as a urine contamination neutralizer and as an acid detergent (tannin) spotting solution. UPS will effectively dissolve and dislodge alkaline salt residues that build up in urine deposits and neutralize sticky and gummy lipids and contamination which will make any urine deodorization solution work faster and more effectively. The specialty surfactants carry the active ingredients deep into the carpet and help to penetrate the carpet fiber for more effective treatment. Used as a first response to urine deposits, because it contains an odor counteractant and decontamination deodorizer it can effectively eliminate odor on some urine deposits. Pretreating the urine contamination with UPS makes all enzyme and encapsulating pet odor deodorization solutions work faster and more effectively. UPS is also an incredibly effective acid detergent spotter for treating tannin, salt, or alkaline based spots and spills on carpet and upholstery. It can often be used to eliminate spots caused by coffee, tea, wine, soft drinks, as well as to neutralize and break down the build-up of many ice melt compounds in carpeting. UPS has a refreshing, clean scent.

Directions:
For pre-treatment and neutralization of urine contamination and deposits

1. Always pre-test all cleaning solutions in an inconspicuous area for colorfastness prior to application.
2. Mix UPS 1 part solution with 4-6 parts warm or hot water depending upon severity of contamination.
3. Using a spray applicator, saturate spray the affected areas. Make sure that the UPS mixture comes in direct contact with the source material for most effective treatment.
4. Allow 3 to 10 minutes of dwell time.
5. On severe urine contamination, flush liberally and extract with a sub-surface extraction tool or wand. Extract area thoroughly.
6. For faster drying, especially in humid environments, consider the use of an axial, centrifugal, or downdraft air mover after cleaning.

For use as an acid detergent spotter

1. Always pre-test all cleaning solutions in an inconspicuous area for colorfastness prior to application.
